Churches, Chapels, and Temples

Worship

In 1986 Gowling and Gibb Architects established our sister company the GDG Architectural Group primarily for work on interiors projects, graphics and artistic work but most specifically to focus on our extensive work load of ecclesiastical projects. In particular we have worked on hundreds of projects for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the most significant of which is the award winning Alberta Temple Project listed by Alberta Construction Magazine as one of Alberta's top 30 projects of the last 30 years. The firm has also completed renovation / addition projects for the Roman Catholic dioceses and for the Angelican Church of Canada.

“The entrance foyer is spectacular. The attention to details and historical accuracy throughout the temple is superb.”
